You wonder why it is so expensive to live in Cook County, it's the taxes and the bloated government. If the county were run like a business, it would have gone bankrupt by now. I think the an independant auditor should have access to all the books and record keeping, and make some recommendations on where to trim the fat. Someone not with anything to lose, only our trust and respect to gain. Where does all of our tax money go and why do they keep needing more and more?
